Lyford, a graphic circular design, inspired by Japanese Ikat fabrics, is softened by a yarn-dyed floral recalling flowers in the sand, part of the Bahamas Collection. A geometric wicker pattern completes the set. Colourways are lilac and khaki, or coral with accents of grey and black.

Paraggi

Paraggi features delicate plumbago blossoms and Ligurian pittosporum leaves on a geometric trellis in all-over or border designs. Seen here paired with Caruggio, a collection that, recalls the narrow, winding streets lined with ciottoli, or cobbles, that dot Ligurian villages. The fabric's geometric twists and turns evoke both the cobble patterns and the streets' torturous passageways – designed to trick the wind. An unusual weaving technique adds small, raised lines to the 'cobblestones' giving them a stone-like texture, satisfying to the touch. The design also appears on embroidered cotton satin quilts. Made in Italy.

Cammeo

Frette's Portofino collection takes inspiration from the landscapes, colors, plants and gardens of her exquisitely-written novel, in which four women who 'appreciate wistaria and sunshine' stay at a 'small medieval castle in the Mediterranean'. Featured here, the Cammeo Collection, has an idyllic toile de jouy design – a complex repeated pattern depicting an idealized, eighteenth-century Ligurian landscape. Shady trees flank the waters and little boats drift under arched bridges in a pastoral river scene. Made in Italy.
