Caruggio

Caruggio recalls the narrow, winding streets lined with ciottoli, or cobbles, that dot Ligurian villages. The fabric's geometric twists and turns evoke both the cobble patterns and the streets torturous passageways – designed to trick the wind. An unusual weaving technique adds small, raised lines to the cobblestones giving them a stone-like texture, satisfying to the touch. Made in Italy.

Baglio

Named after traditional, internal Sicilian courtyards, Baglio again combines Baroque and geometric elements, reminiscent of Sicilian majolica, beaten earth floors and the rectangular shapes of courtyards. The 'placed' version of this design has an ornate majolica motif in the centre and at the corners, surrounded by tiny geometric cubes. Concentric squares frame the whole. Made in Italy.
